Biography
Miguel Lima was born in Lisbon in 1987. He graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and received an Erasmus scholarship for a year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. After a few years working in the fine arts, in 2015 he had his first contact with independent cinema and in 2016 he moved to Porto to join the animation studio of the production company Bando à Parte, where he became part of the artistic team and helped develop several award-winning film projects. At the moment he’s developing his personal and collective projects at BAP - Animation Studio, where he’s the tallest director. With Dimitri Mihajlovic, he co-directed his first animated short film “Quase Me Lembro”.
